Bucks County PA Real Estate Information

Bucks County, Pennsylvania, was founded in 1682 by William Penn, who was an English real estate entrepreneur. Today, this county is home to a population of approximately 620,000 people spanning 23 boroughs and 31 townships, with its county seat being Doylestown. With a rich history and many distinguished landmarks, Bucks County is a place that retains its heritage while paced to grow well into the future. It’s a county that is still growing and has many economic factors in its favor, having a strong base in Tourism and Biotechnology. For these reasons, Bucks County real estate is attractive to own for home buyers looking to make roots or buy a new home. 
 
Bucks County is known for historical landmarks that include the Pearl S. Buck House, Mercer Museum, Washington Crossing Historic Park and Pennsbury Manor. Historic Covered Bridges can still be found throughout Bucks County with about 10 of them open to vehicular traffic. Thanks to its picturesque natural scenery, colonial/historic landmarks, and proximity to Philadelphia, tourism is one of the major industries of Bucks County, the other being Biotechnology.
